Hey guys, this is the week when the Kickstarter campaign ends for that boat we've been sinking all our time in to. We had our first show. It was awesome. The boat is back at the shop for some problem solvling. I just wanted to show you some photos and beg for a $20 donation. I'm gonna send a plea out every day this week. Today, I'm just gonna send a few photos. Tomorrow I'll spout philopshophy. Wedesnday, politics. Thursday, arts inspiration. Friday, activation.
Our fundrasing goal was $7,500. Today we have like $4,200. There are 5 days left.

If we don't hit $7,500, we get nothing. Here are a few photos of what you would be supporting. The show we did was free, under the fullest moon, the water providing the rythem track for the accordian lapping against the side of the vessel. Sure, it caught on fire a little and the engine broke 8 times and we took on some water... but when we are underway we are our own soverign nation. Our intention is to bring it here to SF/Oakland. And do cool, free shit with it. To contribute to the aggragate units of interesting here in our city of Art and Innovation.
Is it so surprising that the nomadic clan of artists now look to the water to stead now that every square inch of land in SF has been bought, sold, upgraded, re-modeled and has plans, drawings and mauve latex paint on it? The water is the unregulated place we need to do whatever. You don't need a street closure, a sound permit or a fucking fire inspection if your doing a show on the water. Think about it... it's empty space that no one owns. It's ours. Jump through a few hoops like life vests and 4 (yes, count them 4) lights and you are as legal to do whatever you want as long as you are not a "hazzard to navagation".
Please, visit the site and make this happen. We need to fund this thing. Over fund it. And then do cool shit on it for 20 years. Amortize it and it's like the cheapest project imaginable.

This email lists is that of Showman Chicken John of San Francisco. You can keep up with his shenanigans and shows by being on this list. He also sends out some personal writing and such. He posts a few times a week at most. You sound much more important when you speak about yourself in the 3rd person. At least I do when I talk about me as 'him'.
