here is the blurb:

Please come to a sneak preview of our ayahuasca film-in-the-making, a crazy 10-year labour of love. We just finished a short version, which screened in Canada- and we're trying to raise the last funds we need to finally finish the film we set out to make, the feature-length version which can travel the world. We've launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise $40k, mainly to pay our editor for the last months of work to get it done-

Our filmmaking team's credits include award-winning feature docs like The Take (by Avi Lewis and Naomi Klein) and Rip! a Remix Manifesto. John Doyle of the Globe & Mail called the film "Beautifully made". Mark Achbar (The Corporation) said "What a fantastic, gorgeous, ground-breaking, jam-packed, important piece of work you and your team created. You've done the world a great service. This film in all its versions will endure and propagate far and wide, with real impacts on people's lives and public policy." And Naomi Klein tweeted about the Kickstarter campaign- "The Jungle Prescription, a transformative, beautiful film on addiction, needs help 4 final push. Rough cut is stunning"

We're doing a sneak preview at the 25th anniversary MAPS conference in Oakland-

And we want to share the film with friends in SF, Monday Dec 12 at 830pm. We're screening the short version in hopes of inspiring people to help us make our Kickstarter goal... and maybe even finding some more serious investors who might want to get involved. We're honoured to be hosted by Chicken John in his awesome warehouse space: 3359 Cesar Chavez St, San Francisco 94110.

Really looking forward to seeing everyone there-

This email lists is that of Showman Chicken John of San Francisco. You can keep up with his shenanigans and shows by being on this list. He also sends out some personal writing and such. He posts a few times a week at most. You sound much more important when you speak about yourself in the 3rd person. At least I do when I talk about me as 'him'.
